GREY SKIES FALLEN Begin Pre-Production For Fourth Album

May 5, 2006

New York metal band GREY SKIES FALLEN has begun pre-production for their fourth full-length album. Tentatively self-titled, this album will be an eclectic mix of styles from all three of their prior records; this time with an emphasis on the heavier elements. Demoing of select songs will commence early summer, allowing the band to debut these tracks on their MySpace page before recording the album.

GREY SKIES FALLEN owns and operates their own label, Xanthros Music. However, without the backing of a "real" record label, the band is limited in terms of traveling for tours due to financial constraints. The band hopes that the recent release of "Two Way Mirror", combined with the brand new demo songs, will open some eyes of record labels.

GREY SKIES FALLEN continues to play shows in the New York City area, with their next show falling on May 11 at the legendary Continental in Manhattan . This show will be the first one to feature new bassist Mary Saragoussi. Mary replaces longtime bassist Jimmy White who recently parted ways with the band after six years of tireless service. Jimmy will continue to assist the band with the recording of the demo tracks in his home studio.
